Tilbage til overblik

During his education on the IUT Reims (Mechanical Engineering) and IPI Chalons en Champagne (Industrial Management) the Frenchman noticed that he’s very curious and keen to help other people or customers; one of the main reasons his new job fits perfectly for Aurélien. His background of previous jobs gives him the experience to provide all Selectline partners with high-quality service.  In the past, he was a sales engineer and sales manager.

‘It’s a really nice team with a real soul’

In his first weeks Aurélien met his new Dutch and French teammates on both production facilities of Selectline. His first impressions of the team are very promising; ‘It’s a really nice team with a real soul’. Aurélien hopes to add something extra to the team with his smile, his good mood and experience with customer relationship. With the help of his French colleague and also international account manager Michel Souillart, a reference in the market of line marking, Aurélien wants to succeed the ambitious goals of Selectline.

Commercial Manager Line Marking Sjoerd Broos is very pleased with the addition of Lafon to the team. ‘With his enthusiasm and knowledge, we can improve our services and get closer to our customers in France’.

On a personal note the new asset of Selectline, a supporter of Stade de Reims, is keen of being active. He likes to kayak, cook, ride his bike or repairing stuff. In all these pursuits his motto ‘Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts’ (Winston Churchill) applies. As a father of two daughters and one stepson the family man dreams of a family trip to Japan, to change their current house for a bigger on or to have his own sailboat in the ‘Lac du Der’.
