Guido Janssen new CEO

Guido Janssen will start as CEO of the SmartCoat Group, the parent company of Selectline, effective 12 April. Janssen previously worked as CCO for Cargill, Koninklijke Zeelandia, Interfood and more recently at Protix. (interim).

Guido Janssen nieuwe CEO SmartCoat Group

As new CEO, Janssen will head up the further development of coating producers Sudlac SAS, Mardenkro BV and Selectline. On 1 January 2021, shareholder Horticoop also acquired the French shares in the SmartCoat Group. The Group will be fully integrated this year.
Effective 12 April, SmartCoat Group’s Executive Board, in addition to Guido Janssen as CEO, will include Niels de Groot, Financial Director and Jort Gerritsen, Technical Director.

The SmartCoat Group is a producer of innovative high-tech coatings designed to optimize greenhouse climates in the international greenhouse horticulture sector. The SmartCoat Group has its own branches in Western and Southern Europe and in Canada. The Group exports to more than 60 countries throughout the world from these branches. In addition to high-tech coatings, SmartCoat also specializes in sports field lining (Selectline), primarily in Europe for the time being.
